50+ Years of Exceptional Well Water Services
Prairie State Water has been providing exceptional well water services to the collar suburbs of Chicago, IL for more than 50 years. Before starting the business in the early 1950s, the “Liberg Brothers,” John and Patrick, bought some property in Lombard, IL. Cornfields, prairie grass and apple orchards as far as you could see. The need for water was a must to build their new homes. Seeing there was a significant need for water well pump services, and installation contractors, the brothers purchased a drill rig and drilled their first well on Johnny’s property. This entrepreneurial spirit was passed down along with family values like respect, hard work, honesty, and moral character. A love for the well pump business was maintained from generation to generation, and in 2000, Steve Liberg, John’s youngest son, started Prairie State Water Systems. Being involved in the water system industry for over 40 years, Steve is a second generation water well and water systems contractor, maintaining the same principles his father and uncle taught at an early age.
